Their collection includes Constance Hopkins' beaver felt hat and the Thomas Prence chair.

Nicholas and Constance (Hopkins) Snow's oldest child Mark Snow married Jane Prence, daughter of Governor Thomas Prence. Thomas Prence arrived in Plymouth aboard the Anne in 1623. He was elected governor of Plymouth Colony in 1634 and was elected an Assistant in 1635. From then on, he served either as an Assistant or as governor every year until his death in 1673. According to the Pilgrim Hall Museum, he was one of the most important and influential men in the colony in the mid 1600s. Our family descends from Governor Thomas Prence through his daughter Jane.
